Our program at Lancaster Hill is customized for each horse and rider team, and keeps your riding goals at the forefront. Flat rate training board consists of 4-6 sessions, lessons and/or training rides per week. This includes Hallway grain fed twice daily with supplements (owner provided) and hay fed four times daily, coastal and alfalfa. We use bagged shavings and stalls are cleaned twice daily. Also covered is laundry service, turnout, full grooming, tack up service if needed and holding for vet/farrier/body work appointments.

Showing

rider

The show team at Lancaster Hill Stables travels year round to both local and national hunter jumper shows. We welcome all levels of horse and rider, from beginners to seasoned competitors. Our group is fun, hardworking and extremely competitive while remaining supportive of our fellow barn mates-if this sounds like the right environment for you, please contact us if you're interested in seeing our show calendar!

We do not offer public boarding, a public lesson program, summer camps, or public access to the farm. Lancaster Hill Stables is a small program with a boutique experience - maximum attention is focused on each horse and rider.

About

Julia Milligan

Julia grew up in Saint Leonard, MD and began riding at the age of 7. Over the years, she went from 4H and Pony Club to competing seriously in the Hunter Jumper world. While earning a Bachelors of Science at Kansas State University, she continued to ride and a train at a show barn. She went on to become a working student and traveled nationally to rated shows. Learning everything behind the scenes and in the saddle she could, Julia knew becoming a professional within the industry was what she wanted. She later moved to Texas. After spending time working at a local barn as the head trainer, Julia started her own program in 2018 and Lancaster Hill was born. Julia enjoys developing young horses to the upper levels of the sport. She also prides herself in matching horse and rider pairs for continuing success in the show ring.
